Yes, the weather may be a bit cooler than we’d like it here at Lake Tahoe, CA, but that doesn’t mean all our lake life has to disappear. In fact, with a little help from our team at H2O Craft Rentals & Repair, we can help you enjoy the lake during the cooler fall months. Here are just a few ways that we’re making the most of it.
1. Go fishing.
The fish aren’t dependent on the summer sun, so why should we be? Rent a fishing boat, and enjoy throwing your line into beautiful Lake Tahoe. You can enjoy catching some fish as well as more peaceful waters. Plus, you don’t have to head to shore due to the heat, allowing you to get a bit more casting time.
2. Take a hike.
Plan a fall hike around the perimeter of the lake. You can pack a picnic lunch and take your time, making a day out of it. You can find a number of great hiking trails in the area, so check them out to see which one would be best for you.
3. Explore the shore.
The coastline at Lake Tahoe is no less beautiful during the fall months than it is during the spring and summer. We recommend that you gather up some friends, rent a pontoon boat, and cruise along the shoreline. You can bring some good eats, have good conversation, and just enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. (Just be sure to dress appropriately for the weather!)
If you decide that you’d like to enjoy the lake one last time before winter hits, contact our staff here at H2O Craft by calling (209) 833-6893. We’d love to reserve that fishing boat or pontoon rental for all your fall fun and adventure here at Lake Tahoe in California.
